Effective date: September 14, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using Careko, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you use Careko for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Careko is currently a prototype and test deployment. We may change, suspend or discontinue features as the product develops.
2. The Careko Services
Careko provides software for hospital operations, patient coordination, communication workflows and supported ABDM integrations. Careko is a software platform, not a hospital, clinician, medical provider or emergency service.
Careko does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, select treatment or guarantee a clinical outcome. Users must not rely on Careko as a substitute for professional clinical judgment or emergency services.
3. Accounts and Google sign-in
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials, devices and sign-in sessions secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Google sign-in is an authentication option. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google’s terms and policies. You may use only accounts and identity information that you are authorized to use.
4. Organization responsibilities
Organizations are responsible for:
- authorizing users and assigning appropriate roles and permissions;
- the accuracy and lawfulness of information entered into Careko;
- providing patients and users with required notices and obtaining required consents;
- maintaining appropriate clinical, privacy, security and retention procedures; and
- using ABDM and connected services in accordance with their applicable rules and approvals.
Organizations must not use Careko to make decisions that require a qualified professional without appropriate human review.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Careko unlawfully, fraudulently or without authorization;
- access another organization’s data or attempt to bypass security controls;
- upload malicious code, excessive automated traffic or content that infringes another person’s rights;
- reverse engineer, resell or copy the Services except where applicable law permits; or
- use the Services for emergencies, unlawful surveillance, discrimination or decisions without appropriate human oversight.
6. Patient data and integrations
Organizations retain responsibility for patient and health information they submit. Careko may process that information to provide the Services and the organization’s configured workflows. ABDM requests and data sharing occur only through supported flows and may require patient consent, user authorization, valid credentials and external system availability.
Careko does not guarantee that ABDM or another third-party integration will be available, approve a request, return complete data or meet a particular operational need.
7. Ownership and feedback
Careko and its licensors own the Services, software, designs, documentation, names and logos, excluding information supplied by users. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your authorized internal operations while these terms apply.
If you provide suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
8. Third-party services
The Services may connect to Google, ABDM, hosting providers, databases and other third-party services. Those services are not controlled by Careko, and their own terms, privacy policies, availability and security practices apply. You authorize Careko to make the integrations you request on your behalf.
9. Availability, warranty and liability
The prototype Services are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Careko disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability and error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Careko will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, loss of data, loss of revenue or clinical or operational decisions made by a user. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, users or data, investigate misuse, comply with law or address a security risk. An organization may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue, including ownership, acceptable-use consequences, disclaimers and limitations of liability.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the Services change. We will post the current version on this page and revise the effective date. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@careko.in.
